SJSU ISPE will be having guest speaker Shravya Nadig, who is a Genetech Campus Liason and former SJSU Biomedical Grad, present information about the company and the many available opportunities for the summer, as well as general employment for future graduates. We highly advise those who are interested to bring resumes and good questions!

Industry Mixer & Fermentation Lecture: Karl Wilks

Karl Wilks our industry advisor from AMEC Foster Wheeler will be coming to SJSU to demonstrate the fermentation process and teach students how to do home brews as well. Also, we will be having a short industry mixer so members can meet with our advisors and spend some time "picking their brains."  Food will be provided so make sure to show up!

Vendor Night

Thursday March 10 @5pm in AT&T Park

We hope you can join ISPE for the 25th Annual Vendor Night exhibit show. The theme "We Are the Champions" is fitting of San Francisco's baseball legacy and the new location at AT&T Park. ISPE is in need of volunteers for the event so it would be great if you could offer your time. Plan on meeting a wide range of industry professionals as well as looking at research projects from various Bay Area students.
 

BMES/ISPE Guest Speaker: Beverly Huss

BMES & ISPE joins together to welcome the CEO & co-founder of Qool Therapuetics, Beverly Huss. Qool Therauetics is a company that is working on developing non-invasive therapuetic hypothermia devices in order to preserve tissues following a heart attack. Beverly Huss will be talking more about this device and the other ventures her company is working on.
